With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Neal George Newland of Union, Missouri, who passed away on January 19, 2022 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Melvin Newland and Mona Newland. He is survived by: his wife Jean Newland of Union, MO; his children, Andy Newland (Lisa) of Tacoma, WA, David Newland of Hendersonville, TN, Wanda Crowe (Kevin) of Iberia, MO and Jackie Vandiver (Lee) of St. Clair, MO; his siblings, Melvin Newland (Ethel) of Kansas, OK, Paul Newland (Jane) of Lakeland, FL, Marcia Haverly (Jim) of St. Ann, MO and Marilyn Esterline of Maryland Heights, MO; his sister-in-law Paula Speraneo of West Plains, MO; and his grandchildren, Justin Newland and Carol Tyler. He is also survived by six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends.

Memorials may be made to either St. Clair Christian Church, St. Louis Christian College or Mid-South Christian College in Memphis TN.
