He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Montgomery and Evalyn LeRoy; his sister Sarah Jane Sickmeier; and his son Bradford Montgomery. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Montgomery; his children, Susan Yeager (Bob) of Kansas City, MO, Craig Montgomery (Kelly) of Cornelius, NC and Cindy Montgomery of Union; his grandchildren, John Stewart, Brian Stewart, Laura Stewart, Sam Montgomery (Maddie), Caroline Montgomery, Meredith Montgomery, Leigh Yeager, Lauren Yeager and Alexis Hardin (Tom); his great grandchildren, Lilly Lewis and Lincoln Stewart; and his sisters, Evalyn Nosser of Imperial, MO and Kathi Alicia of Imperial, MO. He is also survived by other relatives and many dear friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Oltmann Funeral Home - Washington (508 E 14th St, Washington, MO 63090). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Elks DCC.
