James W Tanner Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 15, 2023, at the age of 86, James W Tanner of Union, Missouri, born in Doniphan, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred Tanner and Vivian Tanner; his son Rick Tanner; his sister Elizabeth Capps; and his granddaughter Nicole Tanner.

He is survived by: his wife Vicki Tanner of Union; his children, Dr. Terry Tanner (Jane) of Union and Lisa Lewis (Mike) of Union; and his grandchildren, Josh Tanner (Rachel), Ryan Barklage (Lesa), Jamie Barklage, Lora Vermillion (Mike), James "Chris" Tanner (Meryl) and Joselyne Tanner. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many dear friends.
