James Lewis Sherrell Sr. Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, Fredrick Lewis Sherrell and Caroline Sherrell; and his siblings, Fred Sherrell, Wendell Sherrell, John Sherrell, Sr., Judy Heinlein and Susan Ford.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Sherrell of Union, MO; his sons, James L. Sherrell, Jr. (Shawn) of Washington, MO and Brian K. Sherrell (Amy) of Washington, MO; his siblings, Wayne Sherrell (Judy) of Cedar Hill, MO, Raymond Sherrell (Donna) of Cedar Hill, MO, Jene Sherrell of Nashville, TN, Mary Drennon of House Springs, MO, Linda Diekman of Eureka, MO, Laura Hyde of Flippen, AR, Lela Ege (Eric) of Oakville, MO and Lorraine Rose (Todd) of Benton, AR; and his grandchildren, Wilson Sherrell of Washington, MO and Anniston Sherrell of Washington, MO. He is also survived by brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Russell Colonial Funeral Home (530 E Springfield Rd, St Clair, MO 63077). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
