As Jackie departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Jackie may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Jackie leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse R. Petersen-Chapman and JoHannah T. Petersen-Chapman; his sisters, Mary A. Chapman and Betty Hobart; and his siblings-in-law, Keith Hobart and Arlene Carlin.
He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Darlene Howell; his daughter Phyllis L. Chapman (Shelly); his niece Shirley Sinclair (Robert) of Burlington; his nephew Keith Hobart (Janese) of Palm Bay; and his brothers-in-law, Darrell Howell (Sue) of Rockford and Larry Carlin of Kahoka. He is also survived by niece and nephew; great-great nieces and nephews and great-great-great nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Kahoka Cemetery (227-229 E Elm St, Kahoka, MO 63445).
