Though Iona may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Iona touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Jett and Lucy Jett; and her siblings, John Jett and Mearl Jett. She is survived by: her children, Doug Wilmesher (Laura) of Union, Marsha McKinney (Doug) of Union and Amy Fregalette (Robert) of Union. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; along with other relatives and many dear friends.
A rosary was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 3:45 PM to 4:00 PM at the Oltmann Funeral Home - Union (103 N Church St, Union, MO 63084). Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 1:45 PM to 2:00 PM at the Union City Cemetery (1200 N Washington Ave, Union, MO 63084).
