It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gloria Jean Hayes of Union, Missouri, born in Saint Charles, Missouri, who passed away on November 30, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Maloney Sr. (Genevieve) and Genevieve Maloney Sr.; her husband Gary Hayes; and her siblings, Billy Maloney, James Maloney Jr., David Maloney, Florence Maloney, Loraine Maloney, Mary Maloney and Alice Nieder.
She is survived by: her children, Keith Schatzler (Tanya) of Union, MO and Sue Whitaker of Union, MO; her siblings, Robert Maloney (Lorena) of Marthasville, MO, John Gilbert, Doris Reeder of St. Charles, MO and Peggy Kraftmeyer of Eolia, MO; her grandchildren, Jacob Schatzler, Lucas Schatzler, Libby Thurmond (Dakota), Lisa Whitaker (Joe) and Robert Whitaker; and her great grandchildren, Hunter and Colt Thurmond. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Memorials in honor of Gloria Hayes can be made to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.
