Elmer Leroy Downey Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 6, 2021, at the age of 86, Elmer Leroy Downey (Union, Missouri) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Downey and Florence Downey; and his daughters, Carolyn DeClue and Paula Downey. He is survived by: his wife Maudie Marie Sohn; and his children, Edward Downey (Donna) of Lonedell, William Downey (Elaine) of St. Clair, Benjamin Downey of St. Clair, Sharon Rice (Thomas) of Cuba, Sandra Tyrey of St. Clair and Tina Downey of St. Clair. He is also survived by grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.
