He was loved and cherished by many people including: his grandmother Ida; his sister-in-law Marian Gerling; his cousin MaryAnn Wesselschmidt; his children, Letha, Lila and Jonathan (Terri); his grandchildren, Chester, Tina, Silas, Simon, Crista, Tanya, Heather, Matt and Tim; his great grandchildren, William Tell, Bessie, Evie, Warren, Karl, Alfred, Isaac, Jackson and Truman; his parents, Julius and Ida; his brother Warren of Marvin, Alvin; his wives, Marian and Beverly; and his granddaughter Vickie. He was also cherished by pet in grandpa's shed. (One of the grandkids said, "Too bad for grandpa there wasn't money in raising cats.") He loved teasing the grandkids; and much to their mother's distress, Grandpa.
