Charles Edward Fertig Obituary

Charles Edward (Ted) Fertig, 84, of Union, Missouri, died at his home on Wednesday, December 8, 2021, following an extended illness. Ted was born June 12, 1937, in Wentworth, MO. His career in Corrections for the State of Missouri spanned more than 30 years. Upon retirement, he and his wife, Barbara, traveled the country extensively in their RV. He is survived by his wife, two daughters Danette Thompson and Erin Graves, four grandchildren, one great grandson and his five siblings Terry Fertig, Sapulpa, OK; Bill Fertig, Williston, NC; Beth Gann and Kathy Fertig of Monett and Kenny Fertig, Eagle Rock, MO. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Maxine Fertig and his two sons, Thad and Todd Fertig.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Wentworth City Hall on Wednesday, December 29th from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.
