She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville Hoover (Anita) and Anita Hoover; her daughter Susan Marvel; and her siblings, Billy Hoover, Mary Stogner, Art Hoover, Becky Hoover, Norma Hoover, Susan Griggs, Fred Hoover and James Hoover.
She is survived by: her husband Rich Proffitt of Union; her daughters, Barbara Maciejewski of Union and Sandra Key of St. Charles; her brother Bobby Hoover of Fort Worth, TX; her grandchildren, Frank Tiefenbruch of Union, Greg Tiefenbruch of Union, Hailey Key (Michael Smothermon) of Wildwood and Ashley Kabel (Gregory) of Wichita, KS; and her great grandchildren, Braiden Wilson, Sylvia Smothermon, Evelyn Kabel, Ava Smothermon and Iris Smothermon. She is also survived by nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.
Memorial donations to Shriners Children's Hospital are preferred.
