He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Cathalean "Cathy" Wykert; his children, Ashley Marie "Pumpkin" Coats (John Davis), William Cody and Wyatt Lee; his granddaughter Neely; his father Lee Elvin Coats; his siblings, Charles Howard "Howie" Coats (Annette), Rebecca Sue "Becki" Steiner (Rick) and John Andrew "Andy" Coats (Bolckow); and his mother Carol Jeanne Coats.
