He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Reed and Juanita Reed; his brothers, Victor Reed, Edward Reed and Kevin Whitton; and his nephew James Hagston.
He is survived by: his wife Uma Reed; his son Cory Reed of Clarksburg, Missouri; and his sisters, Kathy Green (Ron) of Montreal, Teresa Barber of Kansas City, Dena Ball (Charlie) of Gladstone and Shelly Day (Danny) of Warsaw. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
