He was predeceased by: his parents, Rolen Malchi and Emma Myrtle Burks (Brown); and his sisters, Carolyn Woolsey, Betty Snow and Georgia Burks.
He is survived by: his wife Vicky Burks; his children, Laura Overstreet (Rich) of John Paul, Natasha Schulte (Chuck) and Derek Burks (Tomara); his friend Tim Smith; his grandchildren, Kelsey, Conner, Nicole, Natalee, Riley, Naomi, Jack, Elizabeth and Hope; and his parents-in-law, Leland and Alice Humphrey. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
