With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Maude (Hawkins) Lewis (Tuscumbia, Missouri), born in Saint Clair, Missouri, who passed away on February 17, 2018 at the age of 88. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Hawkins and Maude Hawkins; her husband Sherwood Lewis; her sister Hannah Lee Hawkins; and her grandson Ryan Carter.
She is survived by: her children, James E. Lewis (Carol Womble) of Paducah, KY, Diane Lewis (Rick Horsman) of Osage Beach, MO, Donald Lewis (Donna Elliott) of Jefferson City, MO and Joseph Lewis of Moundridge, KS; her brother Harold Hawkins (Vi) of St. Clair, MO; her grandchildren, Jimmy Lewis, Mary Jo Groves, Chrissy Fowler (Chuck) and Jason Hogan; her significant other Charisse; her great grandchildren, Alexis, Paige, Rhettley, Abby, Tori, Nikki, Brandon, Taylor and Xander; and also, Patty Gaffke, Josh Groves (Stephanie) and Becky Noll (Jason). She is also survived by two sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, great and great-great-nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends.
