He is survived by: his wife Ellen Mary Burkemper of Troy, MO; his children, Thomas Bennett "Ben" Burkemper Jr. (Sarah), Rachel Rapp Burkemper (Stephen M. Smith) of Seattle, WA and Laura Burkemper Ellenhorn (Michael Ellenhorn) of St. Louis, MO; his daughter-in-law Janice "Jan" Burkemper (Starkey) of Troy; his grandchildren, Adam, Ellen Khan, Elizabeth, Joe, Anne Burkemper, Mac, Josi Burkemper, Sam and Katherine Rose Ellenhorn; and his brothers, Mick and Phil Burkemper. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
