He was predeceased by: his parents, James W. Hawkins and Shirley Hawkins (Pearson); and his brother Jeffery Hawkins. He is survived by: his daughter Nicole (Darren Beasley) of Columbia; his wife Jackie Hawkins of Troy; his son Christopher Hawkins of Florissant; his granddaughter Sage Beasley; and his sisters, Sandi Bailey (Dale), Lynn Collins and Sharon Rootz (Dave). He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
