The memory of Susan Eileen Calcaterra of Troy, Missouri, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on May 30, 2024 at the age of 80, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Jacobi and Selma Jacobi; and her siblings, Clifford, Conrad Jacobi and Alice Ann Jacobi.
She is survived by: her husband John A. Calcaterra; her daughter Susan Hortiz of Troy, MO; her grandson Alvery L. Hortiz IV of Troy, MO; her great grandchild Khloe Hortiz; and her sister Gail Schormann of St. Peters. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, in-laws, family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, Khloe was Susan's light of her life. I know Susan would be very pleased and would want any donations made to go to a trust fund for Khloe's college education.
