It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rush Barksdale of Troy, Missouri, who passed away on July 4, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Deborah Barksdale; his mother Lois Barksdale; his children, Mandy Ledbetter, Tara Dietrich (Lance Hill), Joshua Dietrich and Kate Smith (Al); his grandchildren, Jordan, Jacob, Markus, Tanner, Riley, Clayton, Tristan, Alaina, Brooklyn, Tyler, Olivia, Brianna and McKenna; his great grandchildren, Gabriel and Vanessa; his aunt Martha Sue Sanders; and his cousin John Barksdale (Judy).

Memorials may be made in Edward's name to Folds of Honor or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
