He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Barton and Louise Barton (Brady); and his sister Linda Barton. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Barton of Troy, MO; his sons, Kevin Barton (Angela) of Troy, MO and Sean Barton (Elizabeth) of Sullivan, MO; his grandchildren, Stephanie Moore (Michael), Tyler Barton, Travis Barton, Ava Barton and Max Barton; and his great grandchildren, Ella, Lillian, Bryleigh and Sophia. He is also survived by cousins and friends.
