He was predeceased by: his wife Melba Cappel; his son-in-law Mark Colbert; and his brother James Cappel. He is survived by: his significant other Melba Barrett; his children, Debra Ann Colbert of Troy and Dennis Cappel (Cindy) of Silex; his grandchildren, Christine Roth (Mike), Jeff Steiner (Amy), Lincoln Steiner, Stephen Colbert (Stephanie), Franklin Colbert (Katie) and Christopher Kelly (Julia); his great grandchildren, Trenton Roth, Harleigh Roth, Korrie Colbert, Jolene Colbert, Jackson Colbert, Koraleigh Colbert (June), Rhua, Sloane Steiner, Madison, Christopher and Haley Kelly; and his grandsons, Steve Colbert, Frank Colbert, Mike Roth, Trenton Roth, Christopher Kelly Jr. and Jackson Colbert. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
