He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Launius and Mary Joanna Launius (Krumanocker); his sons, Kenneth Launius and Matthew Launius; and his sister Clara "Von" Johnston.
He is survived by: his wife Antoinette "Toni" Launius; his sons, David Launius (Mary Faith) and Jeffery Launius (Dawn); his sisters, Veronica "Roni" Belko and Marietta "Etta" Williams; his grandchildren, Charlotte Rogers (Jon), Charlene Launius, Amber Bovee Katherine Flynn (Brandon), Elizabeth Launius, Kenneth Launius, Karl Launius, Heather West, Shawn Launius and Alisia Launius; and his daughter-in-law Andrea Dunning. He is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren, one step great-grandchild, four great-great-grandchildren, two step great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kemper-Keim Family Funeral Chapel - Troy (351 Monroe St, Troy, MO 63379). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery (2900 Sheridan Rd, St. Louis, MO 63125).
