It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leonard Henry Pieper of Troy, Missouri, born in Old Monroe, Missouri, who passed away on January 25, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank C. Pieper and Mary Bals Pieper; his siblings, George (Francis Pieper), Rose (Henry Johannesmann), Blanche (Clarence Wilke), Eleanor (Andrew Mensie), Clem (Ruth Pieper), Madeline (Leora Kelly), Norman "Red" (Mary Ann Pieper), Grace Pieper (James) and Shirley Pieper; and also Susie Pieper.
He is survived by: his sons, Darrell of Troy and David (Marcella) of Troy; his wife Jane Pieper; his children, Bill (Nancy) of Troy and Annette Niehoff (John) of Perry, MO; his grandchildren, Chris Pieper (Meghan) of Wentzville, Andrew Pieper (Jamie Ohrt), Dylan Pieper (Kaity Carmichael) of Troy, Dusty Pieper of Madison, AL, Jennifer Clark (Justin) of Lakewood, CO, Deanna Pieper of Troy, MO, Jamie Pieper (Andy Folta) of Metamora, IL and Jodi Niehoff of Perry, MO; his great grandchildren, Bennett and Eleanor Pieper; and his siblings-in-law, Charles Gnade of Old Monroe, RoseMary Rottger of Troy, Ruthie Gnade of Moscow Mills, Delores Gnade of Moscow Mills and Joan Pieper of Wentzville. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
