He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy (Summers); his daughter Edna Jean Cannon; his grandson Dale Cannon; and his siblings, Zelma Zumwalt (Wells), Mildred Jones (Wells), Ruth McCardie (Wells), Derwood Wells and Esther Arbell Wells.
He is survived by: his children, Susan Paulette, Patricia Elaine, Paulette Wells (Ray Mills) of Troy, Patty O'Neil (Dan) of Eolia, Jeff Wells (Hally) of Troy and Bruce Wells (Tina) of Silex; and his grandchildren, Robert Cannon, Wesley Cannon, Tammy Scott (Cannon), Lynette Shelton (Kientzy), Jeremy Kientzy, Carol Todd (Barnes), Jason Barnes, Nathaniel O'Neil, Benjamin O'Neil, Alison Wells, Ivan Franz, Rosaline Franz, Kurtis Wells, Randy Johnston and Stephanie Howse (Johnston). He is also survived by his 23 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
