It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kenneth Henry Burkemper of Troy, Missouri, who passed away on May 8, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Caroline Wehde Burkemper and Paul Burkemper; his siblings, Madeline Heitman, Irene Henke and Paul Burkemper; and his former wife Mary A. Burkemper.
He is survived by: his wife June Burkemper of Troy; his daughters, Theresa Detert (Dennis) of Troy and Elizabeth Moore of Old Monroe; his grandchildren, Kevin Hansen (Helen), Eric Hansen (Melissa) of St. Paul, MO, Emily Carline (Tommy) of O'Fallon, MO and Jessica Jones (Braiden) of Troy; his great grandchildren, Ledger, Gemma and Niamh; his sister Lois Schipper of Lake St; and his stepchildren, Harry Braungardt (Shelly), Sherry Juergensmeyer (Garlan), Benny Braungardt (Charlotte), Jeff Braungardt (Denise), Becky Stille (Curtis) and Amy Flynn (Danny). He is also survived by twenty-three step-grandchildren; fifty-one step-great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
