It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Wayne Nevins of Troy, Missouri, born in Ottumwa, Iowa, who passed away on October 4, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Nevins and Gwendola Nevins (Anderson); his wife Edna Mae Hefner; and his siblings, Robert Nevins Jr., Ronald Nevins and Joyce Knudsen.
He is survived by: his siblings, Jerry Nevins of Troy, Linda Christenson of Shelbyville, TN and Janice Shaffer (Charles) of St. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
