In the vast expanse of eternity, Elvene shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Elvene farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Stratten and Emma Van Stratten (Thoene). She is survived by: her husband Eugene Ratkowski of Troy; and her children, Steve Ratkowski (Evelyn) of O'Fallon, MO, Mike Ratkowski (Carol) of Moscow Mills and Sharon Meyer (John) of Troy. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, as well as many other relatives and friends.
