He is survived by: his wife Margaret Ann McAteer; and his children, Daniel McAteer (Mary), Patricia Eichenlaub (Anthony), Colleen Alley (David), Maureen Banocy (Mathew), Regina Conger (Craig), Michael McAteer (Shari) and Timothy McAteer (Lisa). He is also survived by his twenty grandchildren; and his ten-and-a-half great-grandchildren.
