She was predeceased by: her parents, John Schmidt and Joyce Schmidt (Moran); her husband Richard Maupin; her daughter Julie Richter; and her sister Patricia Williams.
She is survived by: her children, Michael (Tammy Flynn) of Troy and Janice (Bruce Frei) of Warrenton; her brother Tim (Pat Schmidt) of Iowa; and her grandchildren, Stephanie Baker, C. T. Baker, Jennifer Fischer (Aaron), Michael Flynn (Sarah), Amber Alexander (David), Jenna Flynn and Daniel Richter (Suzy). She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
