She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Rice and Vera Lou Waters (Dray); her son Michael Wade; and her siblings, David Waters, Evelyn Lloyd, Addelyne Moore and Juanita Anderson.

She is survived by: her husband Garland "Jiggs" Wade; her daughter Judy Allen; her grandchildren, Sandy Goad and Carla Wade; her great grandchildren, Zach Goad (Caitlin) and Matthew McNabb; and her siblings, Lucille Meek, Louise Ralston (Roger) and Lewis Waters. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Burial: Community of Smithville Memorial Cemetery, Donations may be made to Friends of Plattsburg Pound Puppies.
