It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Zella Marie Whitney of Trenton, Missouri, who passed away on December 13, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Frances "Frank" and Ruby Faye Huffstutter (McKay); her husband Joseph F. Whitney; her son Kenneth D. Whitney; and her siblings, Maggie Fellows, Thelma Hamilton, James F. Huffstutter, Robert L. Huffstutter, Harold E. Huffstutter, Ruby I. Gagnon, Retta A. Cooksey, Helen A. Huffstutter, Susie D. Perkins and George Huffstutter.
She is survived by: her children, Franklin D Whitney (Stephanie) of Trenton, Joseph A Whitney of Trenton and Lori A Shuler (Danny) of Trenton; her sister Judith Klinginsmith of Chillicothe, MO; her grandchildren, Trevor Whitney (LeAnna), Anna George (Adam), Jeremy Shuler (Sheynee), Zach Whitney (Ashley), JaNea Marie Whitney, Jordan Whitney (Abbey), Sarah Porter (Dakota), Austin Whitney, Jadan Whitney and Jaren Whitney; her great grandchildren, Alli George, Benjamin Shuler, Addison George, Cierra Shuler, Michael Shuler, Axtyn George, Wyatt Whitney, Callum Whitney, Beau Porter and Josie Whitney; and her sister-in-law Sue Robertson (Roy Dale).
Memorial donations are suggested to Trenton Foursquare Church and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
