It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Winfield Stokes of Trenton, Missouri, born in Unionville, Missouri, who passed away on September 24, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Edgar "Red" and Naomi Faye Stokes (Green); his spouse Elgeva Lucille Chowing; his siblings, Cecil Stokes Jr. and Elizabeth Swiger; and his niece Rhonda Lamp.

He is survived by: his sister Linda Peters of Trenton; and his sister-in-law Caroline Stokes of Trenton.

Memorial donations are suggested to the Green Hills Animal Shelter in lieu of flowers.
