She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Paul and Alice Elizabeth Elliott Ballew; and her siblings, Beverly Jean Ballew, Barbara Ann Shaw, Margaret Louise Ballew, Doris Faye Ballew and Paul Edward Ballew.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Lee Cheek; her children, Diana Lynn Parker (Douglas) and Robert Alan Cheek (Kathy); her grandson Joseph Benjamine; and her siblings, Karen Spears, Shirley Ward, Larry Dale Ballew and Max Wayne Ballew.
