It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vera Dougherty of Trenton, Missouri, who passed away on October 27, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Vera Dougherty to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Persell and Peggy Persell (Graham); her brothers, Marvin and Dewayne Persell; and her grandson William Dougherty.
She is survived by: her husband Billy Floyd Dougherty; her sister Betty Jean Berneking of Davenport, IA; and her children, Richard Wayne Dougherty (Shelli) of Cairo, MO, Betty Lynn Brassfield of Freemont, CA and Beverly Ann Moore (Mark) of Trenton. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, one step granddaughter and twelve great grandchildren.
Memorial donations are suggested to the Laredo Christian Church and may be left with or mailed to Slater Neal Funeral Home of Trenton.
