It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sarah Joe Brown of Trenton, Missouri, who passed away on October 29, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Sarah may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Sarah touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Alden and Pauline Windrow Alden; her sons, Thomas Alden Brown (Tommy) and Anthony Jay (Tony); her husband Tom; and her siblings, Lee, Bill Ziegelgruber and Shirley Alden Kelley.
She is survived by: her brother Jim Alden; and her nephew Paul Alden (Barbara).
A memorial service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Resthaven Memorial Gardens (310 N Hwy 65, Trenton, MO 64683).
Memorials to North Central Missouri College Foundation, Sarah Joe Alden And Thomas V. Brown Scholarship or Moore's Settlement Historical Preservation Society for the preservation of the Tom and Sarah Joe Brown Cabin they may be left with Slater-Neal Funeral Home, Trenton, Missouri.
