She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Bankson and Edna Williams Bankson; her former husband Earl Vencill; her stepfather Max Weitzell; her siblings, Marion Bankson and Sharron Edwards; and her son-in-law David Henderson.
She is survived by: her husband Harold Dockery; her brother Louis Bankson; her children, Ray Dockery (Nina) of Cameron, Steve Dockery of Shawnee, Kansas. and Terri Henderson of Trenton; her stepdaughter Jennifer Weiner (Howard) of Glendale, Arizona.; her grandchildren, Jason Dockery, Ethan Dockery of Kansas City, Haley Gibson (Sean), Abby Farris of Trenton, Mady Barnes (Tony) of Kansas City, Andi Simon (Chris) of Pleasant Hill, Jill DiFabbio Glendale (Mike) and Heidi Weiner of Lone Tree, Colorado.; and her great grandchildren, Brooklynn, Reece Farris, Greta, Gunnar Simon, Sofia Gibson, Joey and Ally DiFabbio.
