It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Russell Ellis (Trenton, Missouri), who passed away on May 29, 2019, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bryant Ellis and Myrtle Ellis (Hobbs); and his brother James Ellis. He is survived by: his wife Thelma Gardner; his sons, Ronnie Ellis of Colorado and Russell Ellis Jr. of Kirksville, MO; his stepchildren, Terry Gardner (Liz) of Laredo, MO, Ronald Modaff (Shelly) of Oregon and Thelma Peterson of Trenton; his siblings, JoAnn Sawyer, Mary Lou Ellis and George Ellis (Paula); and his sister-in-law Janice Ellis of Trenton. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
Memorial donations are suggested to Joseph L. Norton V.F.W. Post 919 and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
