She was predeceased by: her parents, Jennie McCann and Ernest Sterling; and her siblings, Raymond, Vernon, Bobby, Charles, Edward Sterling, Mary Marriott and Annabelle Martinez.

She is survived by: her son Michael R. Jones (Denise) of Trenton; and her siblings, Laverna Wilson of Independence, MO and Kenneth Sterling (Rena) of Fresno, CA.. She is also survived by five grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
