He was predeceased by: his wife Kathryn A. Murray; and his brothers, Robert Borders and Phillip Borders. He is survived by: his children, Anthony Borders, Norman R. Borders, III (Sylvia Bradley Borders, Sr.), Victoria Price, Penn, Donita Warren, Ronita, Brandy Parks and Lori Rich; and his siblings, Cynthia Calivere, Edith Parish, Ruther Glen Virginia and Joshua Borders. He is also survived by forty-two grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
