She was predeceased by: her parents, James Bryan and Grayce Bryan (Barnes); her husband David Berndt; her granddaughter Teressa Berndt; her stepchildren, Lucille Shira (Gerald) and Dewayne Marlay (Denella); and her son Morris Berndt.

She is survived by: her close friend Leona Kinion; her daughter-in-law Laura Berndt; her stepdaughter Linda Harkins (Leona); her grandchildren, Bryan Berndt, Aaron Berndt (Lauren), Andrea Berndt, Stephen Berndt (Michelle) and Patricia Berndt; and her great grandchildren, Grayce, Brooklyn, Tristan, Cooper, Royce and Elizabeth.
