She was predeceased by: her parents, Marjorie Lois Hamilton and Paul Ishmael; her sons, Ronnie Lee Ellis and Billy Duane McKee; her siblings, Linda Kay Stevenson and Wayne Hamilton; and her granddaughter Tiffany McKee.

She is survived by: her sister Betty Baker of Trenton; her daughter-in-law Marjorie McKee of Strafford, MO; her grandchildren, Duane Waltz, Daniel McKee, Derek McKee and Briant Ellis; and her nieces, Patricia Stowers, Cynthia Bowers, Heather Souders and Betty Jean Baker.

Memorial donations are suggested to Children's Mercy Hospital and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
