She was predeceased by: her parents, James Thomas and Ida Mae Ayers Darnell; her siblings, Naomi Northcutt, Opal Hawkins, James Darnell, Paul Darnell, Andrew Darnell and Lloyd Darnell; and her fiancé Jack Stork.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy King (Glen), Fred Caldwell, Steve Caldwell (Cyndie) and Paul Caldwell (Carla); and her close friend Dixie Overton. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren, one great great grandchildren child; several nieces and nephews.
