We bid farewell to Johnnie Burnice Leeper of Trenton, Missouri, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 30, 2025 at the age of 97. Johnnie touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Issac Leeper and Alta Leeper (Pauley); his wife Phyllis; his siblings, Truman, Carl, Charles, Melvin, Bill, Jim, Helen Griffin and Hazel Fox; his grandson Jake Leeper (Stacy); and his great grandchildren, Tara Leeper, Korben Foster, Izabella Leeper, Tatum Leeper and Tegan Leeper.
He is survived by: his children, Terry Leeper of Branson, Larry Leeper (Margaret) of Mill Grove and Sherry Ervie (Lavern) of Chula; his grandchildren, Trevor Leeper, Angela Gibson, Trent Leeper, Corey Leeper, Kaleb Leeper, Issac Leeper, Issabella Leeper, Johnny Leeper, Jeremy Leeper, Justin Taul, Casey Taul, Amber Wampler and Tommy Ervie; his great grandchildren, Travis Leeper, Trager Leeper, Skylar Lite, Zada Gibson, Eleanor Gibson, Truman Leeper, Tucker Leeper, Camdyn Leeper, Carly Taul, Brooke McMahon, Jared Leeper, Jacob Leeper, Andrew Leeper, Nesa Otto, Paige Leeper, Eva Wampler, Matilda Wampler, Shea Wampler, Madison Ervie, Charlotte Ervie and Benjamin Ervie; and his great great grandchildren, Sophie McMahon and Daisy Otto.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Resthaven Mortuary (310 N Hwy 65, Trenton, MO 64683). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Honey Creek Cemetery or Martin Cemetery.
