He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Eugene and Thelma Loraine Batson Barrett; his wife Tonya Murray of Trenton, Missouri.; and his brothers, Butch and Gary Barrett.
He is survived by: his children, Wendy Drake (Brad) of Trenton, Missouri and Tim (Cyndy). He is also survived by nine grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.
Memorials to Edinburg Baptist Church Children's Ministry may be left with the funeral home.
