He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Bernell and Mildred Hickman Belvel; his daughters, Pamela White-Wood and Jeri McAllister; his brothers, Jon Belvel and Morris Belvel; and his great grandchild Kadyn McClellan.
He is survived by: his wife Sherril Kay Gott; his children, Tonna Ricketts (Kenny) and David McDaniel (Leisa); his grandchildren, Carl Ricketts (Jamie), Cara McClellan (Kipp), Bryan Hand (Anni), Christopher McDaniel (Samantha), Terry McDaniel, Sidney Blankenship and Lindsay Wood; and his siblings, Nora Wilson (Mike) and Willis Belvel (Janice). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial to Kadyn McClellan memorial scholarship fund in care of Community Foundation of Northwest Missouri and may be left with the mortuary.
