She was predeceased by: her mothers, Nova Wingate and Maude Celia Wingate (Meeker); her husband Donald H. McCarty; her siblings, Charles, Neal Wingate, Charlene Wingate and Martha Coon; and her grandson Jonathan McCarty.
She is survived by: her children, Laura Peters (Lee) of Trenton and Michael McCarty (Debra) of Easton, MN; her sister Gwenith McCloud (Richard) of Phoenix, AZ; her sister-in-law Mary Ridenour of Molina, CO; her grandchildren, Dana Peters, Erin Hanavan (Cody), Wade Peters, Christopher McCarty and Ashley Smith; and her great grandchildren, Brett, Charlee and Ty Hanavan. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorial donations are suggested to the Wesley United Methodist church or the donor's choice and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
