She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Herbert Hieb and Aleta Hieb (Quaschnik); her husband Frederick Eugene Simpson; her children, Lori, Judy, Jeanie, Linda, Jason Simpson (Alisa) of Chillicothe, Jonathan Simpson (Shona) of Trenton and Amanda Vandevender (Paul) of Trenton; her sisters, Marleen Johnson (Ray) of Trenton, Cheryl Bentley (Steve) of Castle Pines, CO and Rhonda Colvin of La Quinta, CA; her grandchildren, Jillian, Jacole, Jaysar, Jax Simpson, Ian, Dru and Zoe Vandevender; her stepgrandchildren, Clint, Clay (Cassie), Casey Ratliff (Stephanie) and Dani Rae Buckner; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Thane, Nora Ratliff and Franklin Buckner.
Memorial donations are suggested in lieu of flowers to the Grundy County Breast Cancer Support Group and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
