She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Shafer and Vena Cawood Shafer; her husband Dewayne May; her brothers, Leroy Shafer and Donald Shafer; her daughter-in-law Sharon May; and her granddaughter Laura Jo May.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry May (Jane), Cheryl Ingraham (Charles) and Larry May (Bev). She is also survived by nine grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
Because of Covid concerns, graveside services will be held at a later date.
