He was predeceased by: his parents, David Elmer Sr. and Jewell Marie Owens (Treadway); his wife Nancy Jo Humphries; and his sister Areta Mavis Krummen. He is survived by: his son Brian David Owens; and his sisters, Greta Marie Doty of Wichita, KS, Donna Ilene Satterlee of Topeka, KS, Bonia Geane Peterson of Gilbert, AZ and Karen Audra Brown of Antioch, CA..
A funeral service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Slater-Neal Funeral Home (813 Custer St, Trenton, MO 64683).
Memorial donations are suggested to the V.F.W. and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
