She was predeceased by: her parents, Lacy Embry and Ethel Embry (Lawson); her husband Edwin Albin Holmberg; her siblings, Hazel Rice, Irene Newkirk, Richard "Dick" Embry and Okal Embry; her nephews, Paul Wehmeir and Wayne Wehmeir; and her great-nephew Scott Newkirk. She is also survived by ses ten nieces and nephews, and twenty-five grandnieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions are suggested to First Baptist Church of Tipton or the Sedalia Animal Shelter.
